Selling My Goped Bigfoot 55cc 5.5hp Bigboy conversion
Powder coated in pearl orange, Trans-x Stem and Handle bars. Uprated brake and throttle lever's. 55cc Bigboy Chain driven engine with centrifugal clutch professionally fitted. Very smooth ride with loads of power.
Very good condition.
Only want to swap for an ESR750 now, as took it for a ride and it's still loads of fun. Located in Hertfordshire.
Maybe this needs to go in another section now, or should I delete it altogether?

Don't remember the name of the person who built it, I took it to a place in Aldershot, and it got sent away from there. It is an actual chain conversion, it's not something I bodged together myself.

Aldershot, sounds like the Pedshed, i just about remember em, but back in the day i think they were mega ££ so very few people bothered, rare bit of kit.

Yeah Pedshed rings a bell, did cost a load, would of been cheaper to get the parts and do it myself.

Remember Nige raving about them when they came out, the "Big boy" was dubbed as the go-ped killer. Much faster and (at the time) far better made and more reliable with it's chain drive (no go-peds had chain drive back then)
Someone invented this kit, then go-ped starting building chain drive peds and that was that.

Well this is 5.5hp as standard with no performance pipe and no performance filter, carb, etc.... This engine has done maybe 30-35 miles max, so it's not really even run in. It's got more potential than the goped engines that are supplied nowdays, theres no substitute for capacity.

Im not dissing the engine or coversion at all, they're f**king brilliant. They really made go-ped buck their ideas up and start bringing out chain drive and faster peds. I wonder what ever happened to big boy peds?

The Big Boy peds are very hard to get hold of now, and they go for top dollar. They were belt driven which I think maybe was better, because of the reduced noise?
