Go ped mikro bike BUILDORAMA Thread

Hi , well decided to have a go at building a cross between a micro bike with a sports go ped back end on. Here is the bike which I bought off e/bay the other week, will be moding it week by week .

Bought a second hand sport off e/bay, stripped it for parts which I will be using for this build. Stripped the bike and married up the ped back end and bike swing arm. Got it all welded together, and back on the bike to see how she looks. Next on the card to do is sand blast it, then painting it black.

Currently the rear arm/engine mount is getting blasted, ready for repainting. I have ordered a new rear shocker as the old one was shot, also new handle bar stem and some stunt pegs for foot rests. Will post some more picture as I progress and things arrive.

Ok bit of an update, managed to get the front brake mounted on the forks. Got me rear swing arm/engine mount back from been sand blasted. Painted it gloss black,also a few more parts have arrived in the post over the week. Heres whats come so far, I have fitted these to the bike/ped. Have a look and see what you think, any input/thoughts welcome.

i aint been on here for ages and a still see its dead apart from the odd one or two this forum needs more members like you bud your doing a top job hows it sitting with the engine on ? also what engine you running a shaft driven one ?

Spindle 7.5 driven, got everything bar the engine also clutch kit and support bearing on spindle.Jet pro exhaust too. when they get them back in stock.

i just picked myself up a stock goped bigfoot aint had a ped for a while and this came up cheap as in £30 xheap and like new so im starting a fresh its got the old g23lh engine on so dunno were im going with it yet might just go spindle pipe and carb

Ok guys bit of an update. Got myself some more parts
Orange cables,
Skyway black locking grips,
TRP Brake and throttle levers.

Will be fitting these tomorrow, so more pictures to come........

Which one would you guys go for? My intension is to fit a 3rd bearing support, ADA clutch kit, and a jet pro to this engine too.

Bits came from DDM today. Layed them all out, so you could have a look . Plus a couple of other bits from my collection. Will be fitting all this lot soon, more updates and pictures to follow as I progress.

Got next week booked off work, so I will be starting the building then. Will give me more time to get things done, so I not just having an hour here and there. Will take plenty of pictures as the build progresses, any input always welcome.

Had an hour or so of free time the other night so managed to fit me Orange MSD plug wire. Also fitted the ADA clutch kit ,spindle and filter.

Ok bit more of an update , managed to get me ADA forks with V-Braked all fitted today. Was going to fit some HD bearing cups, but the ones fitted to the mikro bike are a different size to sports.

Also managed to get the 3rd bearing support fitted and the stainless dowl spacers for the tank bolts.

Engine mounted to rear swing arm and tank fitted also with orange/black DDM cover.Fitted ADA gas cap but will be making a vent pipe for it soon.

New gel seat fitted as the last one wasn't in that good shape.

Got me chrome sikk end bleed pipe fitted. Had to make a new mounting bracket, as with fitting the clutch the original supplied bracket didn't fit. Also got me carb piped up and fitted the in line filter.

Just waiting for some more parts to arive from DDM, then I can progress a bit more.

Managed to get me ADA gas cap drilled and tapped out today, fitted some orange piping to it. Gas cap now vented better.

Also fitted a brand new Engine Trix thottle lever today. If any one has a Engine Trix brake lever they want to sell me, send me a PM.

Full dry build complete, stripped it all down ready for blasting and powder coating now. Powder coaters told me ,that I have should have it back saturday morning. I have decided to get the forks done as well ,you will be pleased to no. LOL.
Also having some new decals made up to,ready for when I get the frame and fork back....
