Blata Go Quad
I figured I would post up my kart how it currently stands.
Since race night one of the welds has given up hence I wasn't on it much. Since this happened I have decided to keep it (was going to sell on race night).
I will post up pictures as I go through reinforcing the whole kart and changing several parts to suit what I feel will be better. I'm hoping for alloys all round with rear bead locks, may do custom duallies. Front will have some form of brakes, I'm thinking mad dogs.
Ill be looking into getting a bigger seat to fit my fat ass in and probably some different carbs (butterfly valve style) as it opens up quicker than the dellorto ones.
Anyway that's all for now!

Top work again buddy!
Really is a nice looking kart.
These things will always have teething problems, once you get it solid though it will be beastly

Any update on the kart mate?
I got an idea as to how we can try and get some of the guys who can't do weekdays to a Race Night.
Keep and eye on the Race Night threads...!

I've not even looked at it since that night. Too many options for things to change going through my head lol. What's your plan....

Re: Blata Go Quad
Lol. Same, all i've done is have that top end off. Haven't done anything else.
I was having a chat with Simon about what we should do.
I did check out the 'Rovan 4 bolt 30.5cc Engine Kit'.
Its allot or parts for 75quid, but the reviews aren't great, although they are running well in some 1/5th RC cars the plating and casting of the cylinder and piston leaves more to be desired and I just dont think it will last long under 'Ped conditions.
I think i'm gonna put another order in with DDM, might not opt for the ESP 29cc BBK, just gonna stick with the stock 29cc BBK, i did just change the old WT-603 for a WT-668 and that definitely made a difference, just needs a new top end.
Just thinking if the ESP top end goes again it'll be expensive!
